Sega Center offers state of the art video games in 1977
It was all fun and games at the new Sega Center in Fashion Valley in 1977. State of the art computerized video games were all the rage. A spokesman told CBS 8’s Jonathan Dunn-Rankin that “the play is much more challenging than it used to be…there’s just so much more that they can do with the programming of these video games.” It cost $1 to get $1.25 worth of tokens. One gamer said he’s having fun and that’s what money is for. Games in our video include Heavyweight Champ, Fonz, Plinker’s Canyon, and Road Race.
